Hi! My name is Emily. I’m a poet and writer, but in my 20s, I’m exploring what else I can be — novelist, essayist, travel journalist, video essayist, photographer, fashion designer, event planner, the list goes on. Though this could look flighty from the outside, everything I do comes back to the same two things: love, and the desire to learn.

Jaded Rabbit is a hub for all of these sporadic pursuits. Some months, it’ll be photos from whatever trip I just went on. Others, it’ll be an essay I vigorously wrote at midnight and then promptly forgot about until months later. At the center of it all, though, is what I try to focus on and prioritize in my work: being a connector of people and differing perspectives.

When I’m not chasing the next thing, I’m most likely eating (Chengdu food, to be specific), shopping for my next favorite piece, hanging out with my cat Chonkers, or training for my physical challenge (I most recently ran a half-marathon, but the full is next!).
